Special Needs Parents Association (SNPA) General Meeting 2018 will take place in the Kilmainham Suite, Ashling Hotel, Dublin City, at 11.00 am, Saturday 7 April.

The Special Needs Parents Association is a national parent-run organisation which provides support and information for families who have children with disabilities and special needs in Ireland regardless of age or diagnosis.


11.00 am – 12.00 pm: Welcome address and guest speakers –

Claire Duffy, Policy Officer, Family Carers’ Ireland  FCI provides a range of services and supports to family carers and gives one national voice to represent fairness for carers.

Joe Mason WALK Chief Executive Officer. WALK are leaders in a movement for change, empowering people with disabilities to live self-determined lives in an equal and inclusive society.

12.00 pm – 12.30 pm: General meeting business to include Executive Officers’ reports, adoption of amendments to Constitution, motions and confirmation of new Committee.

12.30 pm -1.30 pm: Open session.

1.30 pm: Closing remarks followed by complimentary tea/coffee.
